Privacy and trust
Short answers to the questions people ask before they trust an app with their health.
What mySEHA does not do
mySEHA does not diagnose, does not name a condition, does not prescribe, and does not replace a doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital.
Where the numbers come from
Each result is read against the reference range your laboratory printed on the report. When a report prints no range, a general range from published sources is used instead.
How AI is used
AI reads the photo or PDF of your report and writes the explanation in plain language. You see every value it read, and can correct it, before any analysis runs.
Where your data is kept
Your records are stored in the European Union and encrypted in transit and at rest. To read a report, it is sent to the AI providers named on our sub-processors page.
Sub-processorsWhat you control
No adverts in the app, and your data is never sold. Export your results as a PDF, and delete any record, or your whole account, from inside the app.
Delete your accountMedical review
Clinical review of mySEHA’s health content has not happened yet. When a reviewer signs, they are named. Our medical review policy explains how review works.
Medical Review PolicyIndependent
"Seha" means "health" in Arabic, so many health organisations across the region use similar names. mySEHA is independent. It is not part of, affiliated with or endorsed by SEHA (Abu Dhabi Health Services Company), Saudi Arabia's Sehhaty app, or any ministry of health, government health authority or hospital network.
