mySEHA App — Terms of Use
Effective date: 2026-07-30 · Last updated: 2026-07-30 · Version: 1.0
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mySEHA mobile application (the "App"), operated by VETRA LLC ("VETRA", "we", "us", "our"), 6th Floor, 1 Roxy Square, Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms are separate from the terms governing the mySEHA website.
1. What the App is — and what it is not
mySEHA is an educational and informational health tool. It reads your lab results and other health information and explains them, in Arabic or English, to help you understand your own data and have better-informed conversations with your doctor.
The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Its analysis, health scores, findings and recommendations are educational. They are produced from the information available to the App, may be incomplete, and may not reflect your full clinical picture.
Always consult a qualified physician or other healthcare professional before making any health decision, before starting, stopping or changing any medication or supplement, and before acting on anything the App shows you. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read here.
In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. The App is not for emergencies and is not monitored.
2. How the analysis is produced, and its limits
The App uses automated text extraction and artificial intelligence to read your documents and interpret your results. You should understand three things about that:
- Automated and AI-generated output can be wrong. It can misread a document, miss context, or produce a confident statement that does not apply to you.
- Reference ranges are curated data, not model output. The App compares your result against stored, sourced reference ranges rather than ranges invented by the model. This makes results consistent, but a reference range is a general population figure and is not a target set for you.
- The App sees only what you give it. It does not know your full history, your examination findings, or anything your doctor knows.
Treat everything the App produces as information to review with a healthcare professional, not a conclusion to act on. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, complete or suitable for your situation.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the App. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
Where the App's family feature lets you add a record for another person — including a child — you may do so only if you are that person's parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorised to act for them, and you are responsible for that record.
4. Your account
You agree to give accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for activity under your account. One account represents one person’s identity; the family feature is the correct way to hold records for others in your care.
When you add another person’s health data you confirm that you have the authority to do so and, where appropriate, that you have told them.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. The App’s output depends on it — a mistyped value or date produces a wrong analysis.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose;
- upload content you have no right to upload, including another person’s medical records without authority;
- attempt to access, disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or attack the App or its systems;
- attempt to extract, probe or manipulate the App’s AI systems, including by embedding instructions in an uploaded document;
- present the App’s output as a medical opinion, or resell or redistribute it as a clinical service;
- misuse the App in a way that could harm other people, VETRA, or the integrity of the service.
We may suspend or terminate access we reasonably believe breaches these Terms.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the health data and documents you upload.
You grant VETRA the limited permission needed to process and store that content solely to provide the App to you — to extract, analyse, store and display your results as described in our App Privacy Policy. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models. Our AI providers process it to produce your analysis and, under our agreements with them, do not use it for training.
7. Sharing and exporting
The App can produce a report of your results to share with a doctor. You control who you send it to; once you share it, it is outside our control.
Reports pass through a safety filter that removes or withholds content which names a condition or reads as a clinical conclusion. This means a shared report may show fewer sections than you see in the App. That is deliberate.
8. Subscriptions and purchases
The App is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features, any purchase will be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and governed by that store's terms as well as these Terms. Pricing, billing, renewal and cancellation will be disclosed to you at the point of purchase before you pay, and refunds for store purchases are handled under that store's policy.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may also change how the analysis works — including the models, prompts and reference data behind it — as we improve it or as clinical guidance changes. Where a change materially affects how your existing results are interpreted, we will tell you in the App.
10. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party providers for hosting, artificial intelligence, authentication, messaging, notifications and diagnostics — described in our App Privacy Policy and listed on our Sub-processors page — and is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. We are not responsible for those third parties' own practices, and your use of their services is governed by their terms.
Where you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, that connection is governed by Apple's or Google's terms and by the permissions you grant on your device. You can withdraw those permissions at any time in your device settings.
11. Intellectual property
The App and its content — including the mySEHA name, logo, text, design, structured biomarker library and software — are owned by VETRA LLC or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of it without our written permission.
"mySEHA" is used in both Latin and Arabic script and is never translated.
12. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Without limiting Sections 1 and 2, we do not warrant that the App or its analysis will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VETRA LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the App's output, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that applicable Egyptian consumer law does not permit to be excluded.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the App. If we discontinue the App, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to obtain a copy of your data.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and version above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you in the App. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cairo. Nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-law right available to you where you live.
